Saint Francis Outreach is a 501(c)(3) Catholic charitable organization of the Diocese of Kalamazoo that serves the Dowagiac area. Our mission is to do God’s work by improving the lives of families and individuals in our community by offering services, goods at little or no cost, and by generating funds to support outreach ministries.

Parishioners from Holy Maternity of Mary Church and Sacred Heart of Mary Church, along with volunteer members of the community, have made it possible to serve and assist adults and children in need through positive relationships and programs. The Pokagon Fund has awarded SFO a grant the Food Backpack program feeding food insecure children in the Dowagiac school
system.
